ABOUT PARKWAY COLLEGE

Established in 2008, Parkway College (College) is the training arm of IHH Healthcare (Singapore) (IHHSG) and a SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) TPQA Grade 2 Training Provider focusing on the development of workforce in the fields of nursing, allied health and healthcare management. College operates as an independent business entity, 100% owned by IHHSG.

Training healthcare professionals and workforce is the forte of Parkway College. We provide continuing education and training courses aligned to the national skills framework for healthcare services. The training services are achieved collaboratively by the professional nurse and allied health trainers in College and the subject matter experts (SMEs) in IHHSG and industry partners. Within IHHSG, our SMEs include nurses who have wound care certification to manage acute and chronic wounds, dietitians and rehabilitation therapists with updated and relevant knowledge and skills.

We are accredited by Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC) as a Basic Cardiac Life Support Automated External Defibrillation Training Centre and Standard First Aid Training Centre, enabling us to provide certified BCLS + AED provider course and Standard First Aid course. We are also an approved Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) and Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) Continuing Professional Education (CPE) training provider, supporting Singapore healthcare workforce in their knowledge and skills upgrading.

Our involvement in training Singapore’s community care sector started in 2018 through our partnership with KWSH. Some of the courses we developed and delivered through KWSH include Basic Mental Health First Aid Provider Course, Managing Difficult Client's Situation and Stroke Awareness Course. We can rapidly develop and efficiently conduct training courses upon client’s requests, such as the Basic Infection Prevention and Control Course, and Infection Control Committee Lead Programme provided through KWSH in 2024.

In September 2024, we were appointed as the training provider for the AIC Caregivers Training Grant (CTG) courses, providing training for caregivers. The courses we provide through the CTG include self-care courses for caregivers, as well as CPR + AED Provider Course.
